ORIGEN sculptural 3D tile installed above two Eames chairs in a sunlit room

Sustainably different.

Design with impact.

Art and design focused on material sustainability, formed into uncommon objects. A Jersey City studio giving single-use plastic a second life — and designing every piece to come back.

Circular by Design. Every piece — made to be recaptured.

Two material streams run through this workshop. Virgin PETG and bio-based PLA cover production today. Alongside them we collect single-use plastic in Hudson County and process it into recycled stock ourselves — a share that grows with every batch we recover. Every piece is labeled with what went into it.

  • 01
Collect & sortSingle-use PET collected from recycling streams in Hudson County, plus PLA scrap from partner makerspaces. Sorted by color, washed, dried.
  • 02
Shred & extrudeCollected material is shredded and re-extruded as 1.75 mm filament. Each batch carries the color of what came in — we never dye over it.
  • 03
Print & finishPrinted large-format in-studio — most of these forms can’t be made any other way. Hand-finished, inspected, and shipped from Jersey City.
