The mechanism
Every step is logged, photographed, and published. The Circular Verified mark exists because we never let a member display it without the receipts to back it up.
Studios ship scrap (failed prints, purge, supports) or schedule a regional NJ/NY pickup. On intake, ORIGEN logs the weight, polymer type, date of receipt, and a photo of the material. This becomes your chain-of-custody record. No log entry, no diversion credit.
Material is sorted by polymer and color, shredded into flake, and routed through ORIGEN's in-studio extrusion line or to Precious Plastic NY partner facilities for product fabrication. Each batch retains a tag back to the source intake.
Your member profile page shows cumulative verified pounds diverted, full intake history with dates and photos, polymer breakdown, and a QR code. Anyone — customers, press, auditors — can verify your claim directly.
Display the "Circular Verified by ORIGEN — [X] lbs diverted" badge on your site, product listings, and packaging. The badge links to your live profile page. The number updates automatically as more material is processed.
Payment alone never earns the mark. If a member stops sending material, their verified status pauses. If a member tries to claim more than they diverted, the registry numbers don't lie. The mark holds value because we hold the line.
Methodology
• Print scrap, support material, purge, failed prints
• PET, PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU (other polymers reviewed case-by-case)
• Material delivered to ORIGEN or partner facility with photo + weight log
• Material that enters the recycling line within 30 days of intake

No. Pickup is regional (NJ/NY metro), but mail-in is accepted from anywhere in the continental US. Future regional hubs are in planning.
Yes. Monthly subscriptions cancel anytime. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable but transferable to another studio.
Your historical diversion record stays on the registry indefinitely as a "Historical Member." You no longer display the live badge or claim "Currently Verified" status.
Studio tier and above can use the badge on packaging and product. Maker tier is digital-only (web, listings, social). Verified Partner tier includes a brand-level license for branded campaigns.
