We take responsibility for the full life of every object we make.

Most home goods are made from materials that can't be recovered, by suppliers you can't visit, in factories an ocean away. The lifecycle ends when you throw it away — and roughly 9% of plastic ever produced has actually been recycled. ORIGEN is built to invert that. We collect single-use plastic from one Hudson County neighborhood. We wash it, shred it, extrude our own filament, and print every piece in one Jersey City workshop. When you're finished with what we made you, we take it back and make it again.

ORIGEN was founded by Geoff LaCorte in Jersey City in 2026 on a commitment to create truly circular, sustainable products — an end-to-end model where we recover the material, make the object in our own space, and take it back when you're done with it. We didn't start a brand to sell more things. We started ORIGEN to prove the loop can close.

Designed in Jersey City.

Every form starts as a sketch on the studio wall at 98 Forrest. We design with hand, eye, and printer — no off-the-shelf molds, no factory templates, no compromises smuggled in by a supply chain we can't see.

Made on one block.

We collect single-use water bottles from our Hudson County neighborhood. We wash them, shred them, and extrude our own filament. Every step happens within walking distance of where the object was conceived.

Machine made, human finished.

Each piece is spiral-printed on machines we maintain ourselves. There's no production line. Just one piece, then the next. The lines you see in the wall of every ORIGEN object are the literal record of one continuous helical extrusion.

Returned. Remade.

Send any ORIGEN piece back to the studio when you're done with it — whole or broken. We shred it down, re-extrude the material, and print again. The same plastic enters its next life. Members receive return shipping and credit toward what comes next.
